Wartburg Students Inducted into Honor Societies

Jared Wauters, son of Jerry and Lori Wauters of Elberon, was one of eight Wartburg College students recognized for induction into the Delta Mu Delta honor society during the Excellence in Teaching and Scholarship Convocation April 11.

Delta Mu Delta recognizes juniors and seniors in business administration who rank in the top 20 percent of their class.

Thirty-one Wartburg College students were recognized for their induction into the Kappa Delta Pi honor society during the Excellence in Teaching and Scholarship Convocation April 11. Area students inducted included Catherine Reiter, daughter of Hal and Deanne Reiter of Buckingham, and Lauren Bauer, daughter of Alvin and Mary Bauer of La Porte City.

Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society in education. Membership requires junior standing, a GPA of 3.0, and a strong commitment to teaching, learning, and the education profession.
