Eric and Stephanie Roepke Schares are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Ruby Hazel. She was born on Saturday, March 22, 2014, in Portland, Oregon, at 6:58 PM. Baby Ruby weighed 7 lbs. and was 20¼ inches long.
She is welcomed by her sister Rose along with grandparents Rich and Barb Roepke of Aurora and Wayne and Denise Schares of La Porte City.
Eric and Ashley Bruce are pleased to announce the arrival of Alexis Jayne Bruce on March 21, 2014. The little miss was born at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo weighing 7 lbs. 2.7 oz. at 5:14 AM. She was 20 inches long.
Proud grandparents are Mike and Cindy Bruce of La Porte City and Randy and Ann Walton of Hiawatha and Beth Walton of Barstow, CA.
Heath and Kelli Ohde of La Porte City are excited to announce the birth of their daughter, Laiken Katherine Ohde, born on January 9, 2014, at 7:17 PM at Covenant Medical Center. Laiken weighed 7 pounds, 3.5 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Grandparents are Dean and Peg Mullen of La Porte City and Jay and LuAnn Ohde of Dysart. Great grandmothers are Velda Seebach of Dysart and Mildred Ohde of Keystone.
Ross and Tara Miller of Hudson are happy to announce the birth of their second daughter, Kinsley Ann, born November 27, 2013. She weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz. and was 21 inches long. Kinsley joins her big sister Aubrey, 2.
Kinsley’s grandparents are Tom and Ann Schrader and Nick and Chris Miller, all of Waterloo. Great grandparents are Betha Pecenka and Donald and Margaret Schrader, all of Hudson, and Dolores Palmer of Mt. Auburn.
Chad and Annie Karr are proud to announce the birth of their daughter. Layla Ranae was born Sunday, November 3, 2013. She weighed 7 lbs., 1 oz. and was 21” long. She joins big sister Mallory (5) and big brother Anderson (2) at home in La Porte City.
Taking great joy at her arrival are Layla’s maternal grandparents, Janet Liming of La Porte City and Dennis Dirks of Morrison; and paternal grandparents, Craig Karr and Pat Karr, both of Dysart.
Great-grandparents are Colleen Liming of Janesville; Marv and Darlene Monroe and Marjorie Karr, all of Dysart.
